Start With What You Have

You do not need a finished manufacturing specification to begin.

Some projects begin with a complete drawing and specification. Others begin with a physical sample, rough idea, existing product, reference image or artwork. We help identify what is already clear and what still needs to be defined before sampling and production.

Product idea or reference — explain the intended result and use.
Existing sample — use it as a physical manufacturing reference.
Drawing or CAD file — clarify dimensions, construction and critical features.
Artwork or packaging — adapt existing materials to the selected production method.
Current supplier specification — review opportunities for alternative manufacturing and supply.

How We Work

From requirement to production and delivery.

These are not separate products or service pages. They are the core capabilities used across For U Supply projects to turn a customer requirement into a practical supply solution.

01 Requirement Review

Understand the product, use, quantity, specification, timing and commercial objective.

02 Design & Artwork Support

Prepare artwork, layouts, mock-ups or production files where required.

03 Manufacturer Identification

Select factories around process capability, equipment, scale, quality and project fit.

04 Quotation & Sampling

Review MOQ, tooling, pricing, samples and commercial options before production.

05 Production Coordination

Maintain communication around approved specifications, artwork, materials and timing.

06 Quality Control

Coordinate agreed checks against approved samples, artwork and production requirements.

07 Freight & Delivery

Coordinate export, international freight, customs and delivery to the agreed Australian destination.

Why For U Supply

One local point of contact across a global manufacturing process.

Our value is not simply access to overseas factories. It is the coordination between the Australian customer's commercial requirement and what is actually designed, sampled, manufactured and delivered.

01

Perth-Based Communication

A local point of contact for requirements, changes, approvals and project coordination.

02

China-Based Support

Design, artwork, production communication and factory-level coordination where required.

03

Requirement-Led Sourcing

We do not work from a fixed catalogue or force every project towards the same manufacturer.

04

Production & Quality Control

Sampling, manufacturing communication and agreed quality checks remain part of the process.

05

Commercial Comparison

Factory price is assessed alongside MOQ, tooling, freight, lead time, landed cost and project risk.

Real Projects

Procurement in practice.

Different products require different manufacturers and production processes. These projects show how the same sourcing framework is applied across packaging, merchandise and agricultural procurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Starting a sourcing or manufacturing project.

Not every project fits a standard product category. The first discussion is usually about the requirement itself and whether a practical sourcing or manufacturing route exists.

Can you source products that are not listed on the website?
Yes. The four core Solution categories are intended to make the website easier to navigate, not to define every product we can assess. Custom and project-specific requirements can be reviewed through Custom & Project Procurement.
Can you work from a physical sample or drawing?
Yes. Existing samples, drawings, CAD files, product photographs and current specifications can all be useful starting points for manufacturer assessment and sample development.
Can you help with artwork, layout or production files?
Where required, our China-based design team can assist with artwork preparation, layouts, mock-ups, packaging files and production-related design adjustments. The focus is practical design support for manufacturing.
Do you only use factories in China?
China is an important manufacturing base for many of our projects, but the sourcing route should be selected around the product and commercial requirement. Local Australian supply may be more practical for some projects.
How do you select manufacturers?
Manufacturers are assessed around the relevant production process, equipment, order scale, materials, quality expectations, experience and commercial fit for the specific project.
Can you coordinate quality control and delivery?
Yes. Depending on the agreed project scope, sampling, production coordination, factory-level quality checks, freight and delivery can all form part of the procurement process.

How We Solve It

From requirement to production-ready solution.

We build the sourcing and manufacturing approach around the product—not a fixed supplier list. Where required, our China-based design team can help turn concepts, existing artwork, samples or reference products into layouts and production-ready files before sampling begins.

Useful starting information

Reference sample, images or product idea Drawings, dimensions or existing artwork Materials, finishes and performance needs Quantity, target timing and delivery location
06

Define the Requirement

We clarify intended use, quantity, dimensions, material, performance, finish, target timing and any relevant compliance or quality requirements.

02
Available where required

Design & Artwork Support

Our China-based design team can assist with artwork preparation, layout, packaging files, mock-ups and production-related design adjustments so the requirement is ready for factory sampling.

06

Select the Right Manufacturing Route

We screen manufacturers by process capability, order scale, materials, equipment, quality systems, export experience and fit with your specific project.

03

Sample, Compare & Refine

Factory samples are checked against your original product, approved reference, artwork or technical specification. Differences are documented and revised before the production standard is approved.

04
Available for suitable projects

Visit, Verify & Meet the Technical Team

We can arrange and accompany factory visits, enabling clients to inspect production capability and discuss drawings, materials and technical requirements directly with factory specialists. Local communication and translation support can be provided throughout.

05

Production, Quality & Delivery

Once specifications, artwork and samples are approved, we coordinate production, factory quality checks, progress communication and the agreed freight and delivery arrangements through to Australia.

Questions

Before we start your sourcing project.

Every product is different. These answers explain how we move from an initial idea, sample, drawing or artwork through supplier selection, sampling, production and delivery.

01 What information do you need to begin?

Start with the intended use, estimated quantity, dimensions, preferred materials, target timing and any available photos, drawings, samples, existing artwork or reference products. We can help define anything that is still unclear.

02 Can you work from an existing product, sample, drawing or artwork?

Yes. An existing product, approved sample, drawing, artwork, packaging file or technical specification can become the starting point for design preparation, factory sampling and subsequent revisions.

03 Can you help with design, artwork or production files?

Yes. Where required, our China-based design team can assist with artwork preparation, layout, packaging graphics, mock-ups and production-ready files. The focus is practical design support for manufacturing rather than standalone creative agency services.

04 How do you decide which manufacturer is suitable?

Selection is based on the required manufacturing process, complexity, quantity, scale, materials, dimensions, quality controls, relevant experience and commercial suitability—not price alone.

05 Can we visit the factory and speak with its technical team?

Yes. For suitable projects, we can coordinate and accompany factory visits so your team can review facilities, production processes and technical details in person. We can also assist with communication and translation during the visit.

06 Do all products require the same order quantity?

No. Practical quantities depend on the material, production method, tooling, customisation and factory. We review available routes and explain the quantity and cost implications before you proceed.

07 What is confirmed before bulk production?

The agreed specification, artwork or production file, approved sample, price, quantity, timing, quality requirements, packaging and commercial terms are confirmed before the factory starts the full run.
